This policy explains how SOLOLANA handles personal information collected through this website. SOLOLANA is a limited company registered in the United Kingdom and acts as the data controller for that information.
We keep data collection to what we actually need in order to answer an enquiry and deliver a service. There is no advertising network on this site, no data broker relationship, and nothing you send us is sold.

Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, the SEO audit request form or the service request form, we receive the information you type into it. Depending on the form, that is:
- Your name
- Your business or company name, where you provide one
- Your email address
- Your phone number, where you provide one
- Your country
- The website address you want us to review
- The service and package you are interested in
- The subject and message, or the project details, you write
Please do not send us passwords, card details or other credentials through these forms. We will never ask for them by email.
Information collected automatically
When a form is submitted we record limited technical information alongside it, for security and abuse prevention. This is proportionate to the risk of automated abuse of a public form, and is not used to build a profile of you:
- IP address
- Browser user agent string, which indicates the browser, operating system and device type
- The referring page, where your browser sends one
- The date and time of the submission
We do not use canvas fingerprinting, device fingerprinting, or any technique intended to identify you across other websites.
Why we use your information
We use the information above for these purposes only:
- To respond to your enquiry and to correspond with you about it
- To review the website you asked us to review, and to scope and quote the work
- To provide services you engage us for, and to deliver the results
- To detect, prevent and investigate spam, automated abuse and misuse of our forms
- To keep records required for accounting and legal obligations
Legal bases for processing
Where United Kingdom or European data protection law applies, we rely on the following bases. Responding to your enquiry and taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing that contract once agreed, are handled on the basis of contract. Security, abuse prevention and keeping our business records are handled on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a service that is not overwhelmed by automated abuse. Analytics cookies, where enabled, are handled on the basis of your consent, which you give or withhold in the cookie banner and can change at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to twelve months, so we have context if you come back to us, and are then deleted. Records relating to services we have delivered are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations, which in the United Kingdom is generally six years. Technical information attached to form submissions is kept only as long as it is useful for abuse prevention, and no longer than the enquiry it relates to.
Payment information
Online payment is not enabled on this website. We do not collect, process or store card numbers or bank details through this site. If online payment is enabled in future, it will be handled by a regulated payment provider, that provider will receive the payment details directly rather than through us, and this policy will be updated to name them before it goes live.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Provide it in a portable format, where the request relates to information you gave us
- Withdraw consent for analytics, which you can also do yourself in the cookie banner

Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated on the server, rate limited, and protected against automated abuse. Access to enquiry email is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask that you do not send sensitive information you would not want transmitted by email.
Children
Our services are sold to businesses and website owners. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new last-updated date. Where a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you about it directly.
